Introduction : If you have less time, yet want to see the classical north and Taj, then this is just the tour for you. Your sights in Delhi would include the
Presidential Palace, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war and a drive along the Rajpath past the Parliament House and secretarial buildings. Qutab Minar, the 12th century tower of victory and Humayun’s tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Old Delhi, the former Mughal Capital includes the majestic Red Fort, the vibrant bazaars of Chandni Chowk and the Jama Masjid mosque. Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated is also included in the tour. See the majestic beauty of Taj at sunrise and sunset. The architectural delights at Khajuraho are the temples and the ghats of Varanasi bursting with life.

No - Sanskrit– it is the oldest of Indo-European languages. All Hindu scriptures and holy books are written in Sanskrit and therefore it is the language of rituals. It still survives as a living language in Benaras, the university being the biggest centre of learning.

DAY 01 Arrive Delhi
Arrive New Delhi, the Indian Capital where you will be met at arrival and transferred to your hotel.
Day 02 Delhi
Morning is at Leisure. Afternoon visit New Delhi.
Welcome Dinner at an Indian restaurant accompanied with ethnic folk dances & music.
Day 03 - Delhi
This morning enjoy the sights of Old Delhi
Afternoon is at leisure. In the evening, we would be happy to arrange for a visit to the theatre or music show of the day.
Day 04 Delhi – Varanasi
Fly to Varanasi this morning. Visit Sarnath in the afternoon. Evening witness the ritualistic prayer ceremony at the ghats.
Day 05 Varanasi - Khajuraho
Early morning enjoy a boat ride on the river Ganges and see the various Ghats. Fly to Khajuraho in the noon. Visit the temples in the afternoon. Enjoy a sound & light show in the evening near the temples.
Day 06 Khajuraho – Orcha – Jhansi - Agra
Drive to Orcha in the morning. Visit the temples along the Betwa river and enjoy lunch at the resort alongside the river. Late afternoon, drive to Jhansi to board the express train to Agra.
Day 07 Agra
Morning visit the sights of Agra including Taj Mahal & the Fort. Return in the evening to see Taj Mahal at sunset.
Day 08 Agra - Delhi
Drive back to Delhi visiting Sikandra enroute. The afternoon is at leisure to do last minute shopping.
Day 09 Leave Delhi
In time transfer to the airport for your departure flight for onward destination.
